Goody Goody™ features Old Meeting House ice cream for milkshakes, floats and other frozen desserts. For 66 years, the Old Meeting House was a beloved ice cream shop that served customers on South Howard Avenue in Tampa – 50 of those years with original owner Jim Strickland.
The richness and creaminess of the ice cream was legendary. After the ice cream shop went out of business in 2003, the brand was purchased by Sunny Florida Dairy in Tampa, which was established in 1911 and has served the Columbia Restaurant Group since 1920.
If summer in Tampa has official flavors, it might be the lime and orange freezes at Goody Goody. They’re frosty, refreshing and a little fizzy on hot summer days.
The lime and orange freezes have been a longtime treat at Goody Goody™ for as long as anyone can remember, with Old Meeting House sherbet delivering the fresh flavors. Sip and enjoy!
Hand-scooped Old Meeting House ice cream, hand-spun for just the right texture, our Goody Goody chocolate, vanilla and strawberry milkshakes are the treat you need.
Enjoy in our dining room, on the patio or order them for takeout to go!
Stay on the lookout for our limited-edition pies! Every few weeks, Goody Goody announces a new classic pie recipe to serve to Hyde Park Village and Tampa International Airport.
